a. 2 x 5= 10 and 3 x 2= 6 so 6+10= 16 16+4=20 answer is 20

b.3 x 2=6   6+5= 11    11+4= 15    15 x 2= 30 answer is 30

c. 2+4=6  6 x 3 = 18    2 x 5 = 10   10+18= 28 answer is 28

d.  5+3=8  8 x 2=16    16 x 2= 32   32+ 4= 36  answer is 36

e. 2 x 5= 10    3 x 2= 6     10+6=16   16+4=20 answer is 20

f. 5+3=8    2+4=6   2 x 8=16   16 x 6= 96      answer is 96

Answer:

x=12

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A linear pair is two angles that are adjacent and form a line. The angle measure of a line is 180 degrees

In this problem we have that

(10x-20)^o+(6x+8)^o=180^o --- by supplementary angles (form a linear pair)

solve for x

(16x-12)=180

16x=180+12

16x=192

x=12

What is the range of g(x) = - 2x + 3, if the domain is {-2, - 1,0, 1, 2}?
pshichka [43]

Answer:

{ - 1, 1, 7, 23 }

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the range substitute the values from the domain into g(x)

g(-2) = -2(- 2) + 3 = 4 + 3 = 7

g(- 10) = - 2(- 10) + 3 = 20 + 3 = 23

g(1) = - 2(1) + 3 = - 2 + 3 = 1

g(2) = - 2(2) + 3 = - 4 + 3 = - 1

Range is { - 1, 1, 7, 23 }

A fireman has 12 ft. ladder and a 16 ft ladder. He leans the 12 ft ladder against a house at an angle of 57 degrees. He leans th
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

12 feet ladder

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of 12 ft ladder :

Using Pythagoras :

Tan θ = Adjacent / hypotenus

Tan 57 = h / 12

1.5398649 * 12 = 18.48 feets

For 16 feet ladder :

Tan θ = Adjacent / hypotenus

Tan 30 = h / 16

0.5773502 * 16 = 9.24 feets

18.48 > 9.24

Hence, he'll climb the 12 feets ladder to the higher height
