We Parked the cars beyond the brickyard. The ovens and some deep holes had been equipped as dressing stations. There we're three

doctors that I knew. I talked with the major and learned that when it should start and our cars should be loaded we would drive them back along the screened road and up to the main road along the ridge where there would be a post and other cars to clear them.

Right, so here it looks as if the answer is the second one, B. The passage starts of simple but around the fourth line Hemingway starts a sentence that doesn't end until the eighth line. It seems very long-winded and the information presented is a bit difficult to decipher, not to mention that hardly any of it in needed to properly understand the passage.

Example on how actions hold people accountable and example how actions show how people feel
Nina [5.8K]
Actions can hold people accountable on how they produce their feelings. If someone were to “madly” yell at someone that they are in a argument with. They can end up saying harsh things or doing harsh things. That can hold them accountable. Again how I said “actions, how they produce their feelings”. Is showing that depending on how the person feels it can be associated with their actions!

How is the biwa being played?
timama [110]

Answer:

The biwa has a shallow, rounded back and silk strings (usually four or five) attached to slender lateral pegs. The instrument is played with a large wedge-shaped plectrum called a bachi. The strings are tuned in fourths, and the melody is played almost exclusively on the highest pitched string.
