Competitive exclusion principle

Further Explanation:

The competitive exclusion principle states that two different species can’t co-exist if they have identical Niche because they are competing for the same resources. If two species have overlapping Niche then natural selection plays the role in differentiating between the Niche which is called as resource partitioning. Humans compete with other people either for a job, prices. But we never compete with the other species. Resources are very limited in the habitat and all the species are competing to behold them. For example, the plants in the garden compete for soil, water, nutrients, sun. There is an interspecific competition. Every species can do better if other species were not present. This concept is known as ecological niche and how the species having similar niche compete. The niche is a “way of life” that defines the conditions, resources, interactions. Every species fit into each community and tolerate the environmental conditions. Fishes tolerate the salinity and temperature of the sea.

Many species share the same habitat and co-exist. That's just how life works for every living thing. But because a niche is their purpose and benefit to the habitat, if more than one species is doing the same thing and trying to use the same materials, they will run out and it would throw off the entire ecosystem by other species dying and resources being depleted.

nekit [7.7K]

In the united states, spending on social security, medicare, and Medicaid was approximately 3% of the Gross domestic product in 1962 and is expected to be approximately 20% of the Gross domestic product in 2050.

The gross domestic product is a measure of the market value of all the completed products and services produced in a country within a specific time period.

Due to the measurement's complexity and subjectivity, it must be constantly revised before it can be considered a reliable indication.

In contrast to nominal GDP, which is better for comparing national economies on the international market, utilizing a base of Gross domestic product per capita at purchasing power parity (PPP) may be more beneficial for comparing living standards between nations.

However, variations in the cost of living and inflation rates across the nations are not reflected in the nominal gross domestic product (GDP) per capita.
