" Watergate is a complex of buildings. 5 men were caught braking into the democratic national committee headquarters. Nixon lied about having any involvement and it was later proven that his administration was involved. He also tried to withhold tapes from the investigative committee. He wasn't actually impeached but most people thought he would be. He resigned instead.
