How does Earth's interior work

Social Studies

Answer:

he Earth’s interior is made up of 4 basic zones: the Crust (down to about 70 km), the Mantle (70-2981 km), the liquid Outer Core (2891-5154km) and then the solid Inner Core.

In the Mantle, the rocks move slowly over million of years due to convection (think of a lava lamp with hot blobs moving up and cold blobs moving down). There are many theories as to what pattern of convection we have, but currently geophysicists and geodynamicists think that the whole of the mantle convects together such that convection cells span from top to bottom. The motion of the cell is driven by the subduction of the cold oceanic plates from the surface as they descend through the mantle. Heat rises to the surface from the core-mantle boundary bringing hot rocks with it and the rocks explore out of the surface at hot spots like Hawaii

Answer:

Argument of silence fallacy

Explanation:

The argument of silence fallacy states that if the person or body remains silent about a particular fact or event then there is nothing that can prove that what another person claim about it is true. For example, in this case: There is no section of the bible that discusses the thoughts of Jesus on homosexuality. For this reason it cannot be supposed that the was for or against it because there is simply no evidence.

Edward starts to worry about telling his therapist about his drinking. He is afraid that the therapist will get mad at him like
lakkis [162]

Answer:

Edward starts to worry about telling his therapist about his drinking. He is afraid that the therapist will get mad at him like his mother used to. Edward has started relating to his therapist as he related to his mother. Edward is experiencing transference..

Explanation:

Freud believed that transference is a projection of one's feelings toward one person to another; essentially a person in the present becomes a substitute for one in the past. For example, if a client's therapist reminds her of a trustworthy person from her past, she might be inclined to trust her therapist more.
