Single journey = 0.5*10 = 5 miles
goung back time = 5 / 30 = 1/6 of an hour

average
speed foe whole journey  = 10 / (1/2 + 1/6) = 10 * 3 / 2 = 15 mph

Answer:

The average speed of Omar for the entire trip from home to the gift store and back is 15 mph.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that Omar traveled uphill to the gift store for 30 minutes at just 10 mph.

1 hour = 60 minutes

0.5 hours  = 30 minutes

Total distance between home to gift store is

Distance=0.5\times 10=5

The distance between home to gift store is 5 miles.

Time taken by Omar along the same path downhill at a speed of 30 mph is

\frac{5}{30}=\frac{1}{6}hours

Total distance of the entire trip from home to the gift store and back is

2\times 5=10miles

Formula for average speed is

Speed=\frac{\text{Total distance}}{\text{Total time}}

Speed=\frac{10}{0.5+\frac{1}{6}}

Speed=\frac{10}{\frac{4}{6}}

Speed=15

Therefore the average speed of Omar for the entire trip from home to the gift store and back is 15 mph.

Solution or Answer Please.
Ksju [112]

Pretty sure this is asking for the perimeter, so just add together the length of all the sides, 30 + 30 + 18 ( 1 yard is 3 feet so just multiply that ) + 18, which equals 96 feet.

Hope this helps, if not, comment below please!!!

Answer:

QR = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

PR = PQ + QR

PR = x + 19

PQ = 9

So now put what you know in the equation above.

PR = 9 + 2x + 19

PR also equals x + 19

so

x + 19 = 9 + 2x + 19

x + 19 = 2x + 28

19 - 28 + x = 2x

-9 + x = 2x

-9 = 2x - x

-9 = x

===================

QR = 2x + 19

QR = 2*-9 + 19

QR = -18 + 19

QR = 1

This really is kind of a nasty question. You don't expect to get a minus number of x.

What equation represents this graph? (ANSWER QUICK)
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

y=-2x+9

Step-by-step explanation:

y = mx + b

The slope (m) is negative since the line is pointing downwards.

The slope is equal to rise over run. The points go down 2 over 1, which is 2/1 or 2.

B, aka the y-intercept, is equal to 9
