Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

that is what you called nth Root

Just like the square root (\sqrt{13}) is used two times in a multiplication to get the original value.

And the cube root (\sqrt[3]{13}) is used three times in a multiplication to get the original value.

The nth root is used n times in a multiplication to get the original value.

ex:

x⁵ = 13  >>>>    x = ⁵√13

x²⁰ = 13 >>>>    x = ²⁰√13

Because the rout mean pow(1/2)
And root root mean pow(1/3)
And if you multiply pow(1/3) with pow(3)
It’s will give you pow of 1 as we want x in

Answer:

9. Perpendicular

10. neither

11. Perpendicular

12. neither

Step-by-step explanation:

------------------

Slope Intercept Form: y = mx + b

* M is the slope

* B is the y intercept

------------------

Lines are parallel if they have the same slope (ex. If two equations have a slope of 2)

Lines are perpendicular if they have the opposite and the reciprocal slope (ex. If 1 equation has a slope of 3 and another equation has a slope of - \frac{1}{3} )

------------------

9. Perpendicular: The slopes are reciprocal of each other and one of them is negative

10. Neither: The lines are not perpendicular because the slopes are both negative

11. Perpendicular: If you plot y=5 it is a horizontal line through 5. If you plot x=-3 it is vertical line through -3. These lines intercept and are perpendicular.

12. Neither: The slopes of both equations need to be the same to be parallel

  • Put both equations into y=mx+b
  • y = 1/2x -2 AND y = -1/2x -2

Is 3x-15=2(x-5)+x always true or never true
In-s [12.5K]
I’m not sure what you mean. But if you are talking about, 3x-15=2 the answer would not be x-5 it would be x= 17/3. So that means your answer would be not true. If I’m explaining the wrong thing comment and lmk :) !

Maria will spin the arrow on the spinner 2 times. What is the probability that the arrow will stop on the same letter twice? 19
gavmur [86]
Suppose the spinner lands on a. There's a 1/3 chance that it'll land on a the second time.
Suppose the spinner lands on b. There's a 1/3 chance that it'll land on b the second time.
Suppose the spinner lands on c. There's a 1/3 chance that it'll land on c the second time.

We've covered all possibilities for the first spin, and they're all equal, so their average is 1/3.

The probability that it'll land on the same letter twice is 33.3%.
