Answer:

a) The size of the sample two dice so n= 2

b) The probability of getting a sum 10 on the two dice P(E) = \frac{3}{36}  = \frac{1}{12}

c)  The probability of getting a sum of the dice at least 10 on the two dice so

P(E) =\frac{n(E)}{n(S)} = \frac{5}{36}

d) The probability of getting that the sum of the dice is a prime number

P(E) =\frac{n(E)}{n(S)} = \frac{8}{36}  = \frac{2}{9}

Step-by-step explanation:

The total number of exhaustive cases throwing two dice(n(S)  = 6 X6 =36

a) The size of the sample two dice so n= 2

b) Let E be the event of a getting a sum 10 on the two dice so the number of favorable to E = {(64),(4,6),(5,5) = 3

The probability of getting a sum 10 on the two dice

        P(E) =\frac{n(E)}{n(S)} = \frac{3}{36}  = \frac{1}{12}

c) Let E be the event of a getting a sum of the dice at least 10 on the two dice so the number of favorable to E

At -least '10' means anything greater than or equal to ten

 E = { (6,4),(4,6),(6,5),(5,6),(6,6)} =5

note:- (6,7),(7,6) events are not possible on dice because the die only '6' sides.

The probability of getting a sum of the dice at least 10 on the two dice so

P(E) =\frac{n(E)}{n(S)} = \frac{5}{36}

d) Let E be the event of a getting a sum of the dice is a prime number on the two dice so the number of favorable to E

                                  ={(1,2),(2,1)(2,3),(3,2)(3,4),(4,3),(5,6),(6,5)} = 8

The probability of getting that the sum of the dice is a prime number

P(E) =\frac{n(E)}{n(S)} = \frac{8}{36}  = \frac{2}{9}

<u>Conclusion:</u>-

 a) The size of the sample two dice so n= 2

b) The probability of getting a sum 10 on the two dice P(E) = \frac{3}{36}  = \frac{1}{12}

c)  The probability of getting a sum of the dice at least 10 on the two dice

P(E) =\frac{n(E)}{n(S)} = \frac{5}{36}

d) The probability of getting that the sum of the dice is a prime number

P(E) =\frac{n(E)}{n(S)} = \frac{8}{36}  = \frac{2}{9}

∠A and ∠B are vertical angles. ∠A = 65x − 12 and ∠B = 43x + 10 How many degrees are in ∠A?
Margarita [4]

Answer:

53 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Vertical angles are congruent so...

65x-12=43x+10

22x=22

x=1

Then add it into the equation of ∠A

m∠A= 65(1)-12

65-12

4. Write the equation in standard form: y=3/4x – 6
wariber [46]
Y=3x/4-6

doing this is thinking of it in a matter of geometric figure and how you would plot it on a graph and this is the only way it would look write.

Answer:

143

Step-by-step explanation:

x-31=112

Add 31 to both sides,

x - 31 = 112

Is anyone here in connections academy geometry. even if your not can someone help me with the question in the images. If correct
Inessa [10]

Answer:

13.05cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a triangle is given a half the product of base by the perpendicular height:

A=0.5bh

Given h=9cm, and b=2.9cm, the area is calculated as:

A=0.5bh\\\\A=0.5\times 2.9cm \times 9cm\\\\A=13.05cm^2\\

Hence, area of the triangle is 13.05 sq cm
