No its not a good reasonable fit to use a linear regression line. Why not? Because r = 0.15 is closer to r = 0 than it is to r = 1. This is fairly weak linear correlation. If r was say something like r = 0.7 or higher, then it would be stronger linear correlation.

No

Explanation:

<em>It is not reasonable to use the line of best fit to make predictions. </em>

<em> </em>

<em>The correlation coefficient for the data is close to zero. </em>

<em> </em>

<em>The correlation coefficient measures how well a line fits a set of data. </em>

<em> </em>

<em>The correlation coefficient suggests that the relationship between the two variables is weak. </em>

Marcus wants to save $378 in order to buy a new electronic
melomori [17]

Marcus would need to save for 24 weeks in order to purchase a new electronic keyboard.

<h3>Define the meaning of the equation?</h3>

A mathematical assertion in which you use mathematical symbols to demonstrate that two sums are equal.

As per specified data-

  • Marcus wishes to save $378 so that he can purchase a new electronic keyboard.
  • Every week, he saves $15.75 from his paycheck.

Let 'x' be the number of weeks required to complete the amount.

The equation becomes.

378 = 15.75x

For the number of week required.

x = 378/15.75

x = 24

Thus, Marcus would need to save for 24 weeks in order to purchase a new electronic keyboard.

Write the ratio as a fraction in simplest form.<br><br> 10.8 seconds : 36 feet <br><br> (Show work)
vodka [1.7K]

Answer: Ratio as a fraction in simplest form is :

\frac{27}{1}=27

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

10.8 seconds : 36 feet

As we know that

1\ second=\frac{1}{60}\ mile\\\\1\ second=90\ feet

So, we use it :

10.8 seconds : 36 feet

=10.8\times 90\ feet:36\ feet\\\\=972:36\\\\=27:1

Hence, Ratio as a fraction in simplest form is :

\frac{27}{1}=27
