Answer:

probing is the best team strategy.

Explanation:

Although societies have more individualistic features from the business field, teamwork is motivated, encouraged and exploited because of the great benefits it offers to companies. No matter the item, size and objectives that are planned if there is a good working group will be easier and more effective to perform.

The advantages of having a good work team are diverse. Your company will enjoy greater efficiency, shared leadership, distribution of efforts and responsibilities, motivation, cooperation and help among members, fusion of ideas and greater deployment of creativity, among others.

The interrelation and permanent communication enables better management and capacity to develop activities and ideas.

Every good entrepreneur can agree that encouraging teamwork is a very useful tool, but doing it optimally is a very difficult task as well. Human beings, by nature, tend to work individually and it takes a lot of effort to work in groups. It is also common not to know how to listen to the ideas of others, to value them and to see in them very interesting solutions to situations that would hardly be resolved if a single person is responsible for it.

A change in the dollar value of the British pound from $1.60 to $1.50 represents A. an increase in the pound price of British
hram777 [196]

Answer:

Option (B) is correct.

Explanation:

1 pound = $1.60

1 pound = $1.50

So, there is a depreciation in the value of pound relative to the dollar and appreciation in the value of dollar relative to the pound.

Now, suppose a resident of united states purchase some quantity of goods(say, 20 shirts) from the seller in United kingdom.

Price of each shirt = 2 pounds

Hence,

Before the change in exchange rate, then the buyer have to pay in dollars:

= 20 × (2 × $1.60)

= 20 × 3.2

= $64

After the change in exchange rate, then the buyer have to pay in dollars:

= 20 × (2 × $1.50)

= 20 × 3

= $60

Hence, the amount paid by the resident of united states reduced because of the fall in exchange rate. Now, they have to pay less for the same amount of commodities. This shows that there is an appreciation in the currency of US relative to UK.

On November 30, Parlor, Inc. purchased for cash at $15 per share all 250,000 shares of the outstanding common stock of Shaw Co.
scoray [572]

Answer:

Value of goodwill = $350,000

Explanation:

In case where is investment in 100% shares of a company then that may give rise to goodwill or rise to capital reserve.

Any amount paid to acquire that interest in company more than the value of such company is recorded as goodwill.

Here, cost of acquisition = $15 \times 250,000 =  $3,750,000

Carrying value of net assets of the company = $3,000,000

Increase in value due to fair value = $400,000

Value of goodwill = Purchase price - Fair Value of net assets

Therefore, value of goodwill = $3,750,000 - ($3,000,000 + $400,000) = $350,000

As a result of a thorough physical inventory, Horace Company determined that it had inventory worth $320,000 at December 31, 201
zimovet [89]

Answer:

The correct answer is option b) $367,000

Explanation:

Here for calculating the correct amount of inventory that Horace should report can be calculated through, by adding the inventory worth $320,000 at 31 December, 2015 with consignment given to Herschel worth $47,000, SO

Correct amount of inventory =

Amount of inventory on 31 December

                                                     +

                        Consignment given to Herschel

= $320,000 + $47,000

= $367,000

Here we are taking Herschel consignment in to account and that too at the historical purchase cost because Horace company has give the Herschel to sell the goods on his behalf but the transfer of ownership has not taken place here , the right to ownership here remains with the Horace and the amount at which they should be recorded is at purchase cost not selling cost.

We will also not include goods worth $ 22,000 in to the calculation because the Horace company has not received the goods physically yet, we will include those goods in to inventory on January 3 not before that.
