These are both on the right side of the periodic table, so they bond covalently.The name would be TETRAphosphorous OCTAbromide. Tetra because there are 4 phosphorus molecules, and octa because there re 8 bromine molecules
Hope that helps!

A tire is filled to a gauge pressure of 2 atm at 27 degrees Celsius after a drive the temperature within the tire rises to 47 de
Ivenika [448]

Answer:

2.13atm

Explanation:

The following information were obtained from the question:

P1 (initial pressure) = 2atm

T1 (initial temperature) = 27°C = 27 + 273 = 300K

T2 (final temperature) = 47°C = 47 + 273 = 320K

P2 (final pressure) =?

Using the equation P1/T1 = P2/T2, the final pressure within the tyre can be obtained as illustrated below:

P1/T1 = P2/T2

2/300 = P2/320

Cross multiply to express in linear form

300 x P2 = 2 x 320

Divide both side by 300

P2 = (2 x 320)/300

P2 = 2.13atm

Therefore, the pressure within the tyre at 47°C is 2.13atm

How many grams of magnesium nitrate would be produced from with 3.421 X 1026 formula units of magnesium hydroxide?
Flauer [41]

33060 grams of magnesium nitrate would be produced from with 3.421 X 10²⁶ formula units of magnesium hydroxide.

HOW TO CALCULATE MASS?

The mass of a substance can be calculated by multiplying the number of moles of the substance by its molar mass.

However, the number of moles of magnesium hydroxide must be calculated by dividing the formula units by Avogadro's number.

no. of moles = 3.421 X 10²⁶ ÷ 6.02 × 10²³

no. of moles = 0.57 × 10³

no. of moles = 5.7 × 10²moles

Molar mass of Mg(OH)2 = 24 + 34 = 58g/mol

mass of Mg(OH)2 = 570 moles × 58g/mol

mass of Mg(OH)2 = 33060g

Therefore, 33060 grams of magnesium nitrate would be produced from with 3.421 X 10²⁶ formula units of magnesium hydroxide.
