Answer:

Wealth, grandeur and luxury.

Explanation:

In the story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell, General Zaroff's home in the island is described as a "chateau". This word is used more often to describe places that are of great stature, grandly made symbolizing the riches and wealth the owner must have. It also is symbolic of the luxurious living condition of the owner.

Though it may be big, it doesn't necessarily have to symbolize any form of secrecy to it's name. So also, the big house of General Zaroff also doesn't seem t have any form of secrecy to it. Rather, we see the protagonist Rainsford looking at the place from a far distance, with blinding lights all from one enormous building.

Describe the historical and dramatic role of the Chorus in ancient Greek drama.
shepuryov [24]
Some people think that they provided commentary on actions and events that were taking place before the audience.
Secondly, the chorus would allow the playwright to create a kind of literary complexity only achievable by a literary device controlling the atmosphere and expectations of the audience.

Karolina [17]

Answer: B) He is a very experienced hunter.

Explanation: In the given excerpt from "The Most Dangerous Game" we can see that Rainford is describing what happened in the scene of the hunting, even though he was not there. He describes all the steps the hunter followed,  and he explains the reasons behind them, this indicates us that Rainford is a very experienced hunter, so the correct answer is the corresponding to option B.
