There are six sides
Because
First, the number of sides and the number of interior angles, both are the same
To find the sum of all internal angles, you use the formula:
(n-2)180=z
where n is the number of sides or internal angles, and z is the angle sum. the letters can be anything
so now, if one interior angle is 120 degrees, then you get the total angle sum by multiplying 120 by n
so just write the equation, and replace z (angle sum) with 120n
(n-2)180=120n
Solve it in any way you like
180n-120n=360
60n=360
n=6
there are six sides and internal angles! This is a hexagon.
FYI, a hexagon's internal angles add up to 120*6=720 degrees

Elliot is buying groceries. He buys a bag of apples for 5.54, a loaf of bread for 2.49, and a jar of peanut butter for 3.73. Ell
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you want to add up the subtotal together, so its 5.54+2.49+3.73, and adding those together you get 11.76 as your subtotal. To figure out change, you simply subtract your subtotal to the amount he paid in. For that it is 20-11.76, and that is 8.24

Elliot gets $8.24 in change.

Hope this helps.

In each of the two right triangles, one angle measure is two times another angle measure. Can you determine that the triangles a
Elis [28]

Answer:

Two triangles are similar if and only if the corresponding sides are in proportion and the corresponding angles are congruent. To show two triangles are similar, it is sufficient to show that two angles of one triangle are congruent (equal) to two angles of the other triangle.

Given: △ABC is equilateral, △ADC is isosceles,
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Since ABC is an equilateral triangle, thus AB=BC=AC=x, therefore

The perimeter of ΔABC=36

⇒AB+BC+AC=36

⇒x+x+x=36

⇒3x=36

⇒x=12

Thus, AB=BC=AC=12.

Now, Since ΔADC is isosceles triangle, therefore AD=DC=y.

Perimeter of ΔADC=40

⇒AD+DC+CA=40

⇒x+y+y=40

⇒12+2y=40

⇒2y=28

⇒y=14

Therefore, AD=DC=14

Thus, Length of sides of ΔABC are AB=BC=AC=12 and Length of sides of ΔADC are AD=DC=14.
