Answer:

twenty three hundredths

Step-by-step explanation:

Decimals have place values just like whole numbers.

The first number after the decimal point: 0.0 is the tenths places

The second place is the hundredths.

in this number the 0 means nothing so we just have to focus on the 23

Answer: twenty three hundredths, or zero point two three

Explanation:

Since 23 is in the hundredths and it can also be represented as 23/100, we can say twenty three hundredths

Zero point two three is not exactly mathematically correct, but most people automatically say this

The amount of time Ricardo spends brushing his teeth follows a Normal distribution with unknown mean and standard deviation. Ric
Papessa [141]
Let X denote the number of minutes spent brushing his teeth, and let \mu be the mean and \sigma the standard deviation for this distribution.

\mathbb P(X

The z-score corresponding to this probability is approximately z=-0.2533, which means

\dfrac{1-\mu}\sigma=-0.2533\iff\mu-0.2533\sigma=1

Next, (note the sign change)

\mathbb P(X>2)=0.02\implies\mathbb P(X\le2)=\mathbb P\left(\dfrac{X-\mu}\sigma\le\dfrac{2-\mu}\sigma\right)=0.98

The corresponding z-score is approximately z=2.0538, so you have

\dfrac{2-\mu}\sigma=2.0538\iff\mu+2.0538\sigma=2

Solving the two equations for \mu and \sigma, you'll find that the mean is approximately \mu=1.1098 and the standard deviation is approximately \sigma=0.4334.

Answer:

<h2>D. </h2><h2>{x | x = all real numbers}</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The domain of a function is the set of input or argument values for which the function is real and defined.

The function has no undefined points nor domain constraints. Therefore, the domain is

Which function has a domain of {all real values of x : x does not equal 1)? **Hint: Graph the function and look for an asymptote
nikitadnepr [17]
Uhhh… this is a bad question. Because technically, none of those is the true correct answer. However, the only answer that it COULD be is B. If you were to plug in 1 into B, you’d get 0 in the denominator which creates an asymptote in the graph. None of the other three have this property

(Just a side rant, the reason none of them are technically correct is because x cannot equal -1 either… just some bonus points you could redeem with your teacher if you feel like it)
