Right answer: the invention of gunpowder and the growth of Confucianism

The Tang Dynasty was considered a very active period of development for three religions: Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism. In fact, the exams to enter the imperial public service were modified to focus on the Confucian teachings.

Its successor was the Song Dynasty, the first government in world history to use money paper, and the first Chinese government to establish a permanent navy. This dynasty also saw the first known use of gunpowder, as well as the first discernment of true North using the compass.

How has the "Smokey Bear" campaign damaged forest health? View Available Hint(s)
yulyashka [42]

Answer:

It allowed too few fires to burn in forests.

Explanation:

Before the Smokey Bear campaign began, tree observers and fire historians can observe that fires used to occur every 10 years or so and they would leave a small scar on trees, but would not kill the tree itself. When the campaign got underway, its objective was to stamp out all types of fires. As a result, more and more trees came up and grew in forests, which has now resulted in having more ¨fuel¨ for forest fires with more trees available to burn, which has then resulted in bigger and more dangerous wildfires going out of control. This is what researchers are finding as a damage to forest health.

liraira [26]
Answer: Water on earth is not distributed evenly; and the amount of SAFE DRINKING WATER is not accessible evenly.

Further, a large portion of the earth's water is ocean water (about 70% of the Earth itself is ocean water, which is not readily available for human consumption (or for consumption of other animals —or plants, for that matter; and not all people live near the ocean (from which seawater can be "converted" into potable water) or near places where potable water can be obtained.
