If Earth took more energy than it released, the "climate would be warmer". This would result in more problems such as the rise in temperature and global warming due to the "greenhouse effect".

<u>EXPLANATION:</u>

  • The Earth absorbs solar energy in the form of infrared rays emitted from the sun.
  • These infrared lights are filled with harmful radiations which are bounced off from the Earth's atmosphere with the help of the ozone layer.
  • If the Ozone layers deplete, the heat and radiant from these rays have nowhere to leave and is taken by the Earth itself.
  • This results in the rise of temperature and more warmer climates that could have devastating effects on Earth.
