Answer: In French revolution it is a third state that calls for freedom from oppression, in Haiti there are slaves calling for freedom. That´s the similarity. Toussaint Louverture was a leader of Haitian revolution.

Explanation: Haitian revolution was a direct consequence of the French revolution, it was inspired by French Enlightenment. Enlightenment legacy influenced fight of slaves (Toussaint Louverture) for freedom.
