Commutative Property is the property in which you can move around numbers in numerical operations like, addition and multiplication while retaining their result. In contrast to subtraction and division in which position is an important factor for every result, here it is regardless. Why might you want to use this property?Well, most importantly it suits the operation of addition and hence, to ensure the arrangement of the number is in symmetric proportion to its counterpart such as 3 + 2=2 + 3. Or rather, understanding that the equations in both sides are but the same and equal in sum. Thus, this is much more usable or will make more sense if used in a larger scale of complex equations and integers.

earnstyle [38]

Answer:

220

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 6 comedies and 12 non-comedies. He wants all 6 of the comedies, and 3 of the non-comedies.

The number of ways he can choose 6 comedies from 6 is ₆C₆ = 1.

The number of ways he can choose 3 non-comedies from 12 is ₁₂C₃ = 220.

So the total number of combinations is 1 × 220 = 220.

X=y+2
X=2y+1

Solving Systems of Equations by subtraction
Please solve this
vivado [14]

Answer:

x=3

y=1

Step-by-step explanation:

We can subtract the first equation from the second to find the value of y, although we can also do this vice versa.

x-x=2y+1-y-2

y-1=0

y=1

Now, we can use substitution to solve for x:

x = y+2 (pick any equation for substitution)

x=1+2

x=3

Hope this helps :)

1 and 2 pls help me with these math problems.........
jeka57 [31]
1. y=4x

2. (I am not able to graph it, but here are some points on the line.)
    (0,3) (3,6) (5,8) those three should get you to graph a line. When you have these types of problems, make a table. plug in random numbers, that are reasonable, usually 1-6, and plug them into the equation and enter your new y values, then graph the ordered pairs and connect them.

How do i solve for this?
dem82 [27]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

So you know the coords for the angle which is (1, 4).

Another coord might be (2, 5) or (0,3)

So we can find the slope

rise/run=1/1

so m=1

Sub in coords like (1,4) to find y-int

y=mx+b

4=1(1)+b

b=3

Thus y=x+3
