Answer:

a. glycogen.

Explanation:

Glycogen, which is a polymer of glucose residues, is the main reserve polysaccharide in animals and is found in all cells. It is present in greater concentration in the liver and muscle.

Glycogen is important for the production of ATP in muscle cells and in most other cell types. In muscle, energy from glycogen is essential for muscle contraction. In this case, it is noticed that glycogen is not exported, being used by the cell itself. In the liver, glycogen acts as a source of glucose, being responsible for glycemic control. In that case, glucose is exported to other parts of the body.

What change to the following molecule's structure would result in a saturated fat?
NemiM [27]

Answer:

It needs to gain a Hydrogen atom to eliminate the double bond between the two carbons.

Explanation:

Unsaturated fat has one or more double bonds in its molecule. Saturated fat has a single bond. If you want an unsaturated fat to become saturated it needs to gain more more hydrogen atoms which will eliminate the double bonds between carbons of the unsaturated fat.

Hope this helped :)

Pretty easy question (s) but I am not good at explaining things so I need help

I'm guessing the rocket scenario is the first one and the asteroid one is the last. That being said...

1) The fuel in the rocket provides it with the energy it needs to propel itself into space. The rocket throttles at the bottom, allow it to break free from the earth's gravity by pushing against the earth's greater mass.

2) If you are inside of the bus, in a fixed spot not moving, and the bus is moving. That means you are moving in the same direction as the bus. If it stops, you're still moving at the speed that it was once originally moving at. Obviously, since you weigh less than the bus you are going to fly forwards.

3) There is no gravity or friction in space, so items won't slow down no matter what. Even if an object such as a meteor is flung into space with the tiniest bit of force it will keep flying through space at a consistent speed, since there's nothing to slow it down... unless it hits something else.

4) Looking back at the previous answer, the asteroid is flying through space at a consistent speed (which is really fast). Suddenly it comes in close range to the moon which is bigger in size, and thus has a stronger gravitational pull, and pulls the asteroid into it's field.

Which of the following is a function of the motor division of the nervous system? A) providing sensation of the internal and ext
Fofino [41]

Answer:

The answer is D.

Explanation:

Among the given options in the question, the fitting function for the motor division of the nervous system is sending signals to muscles. The nervous systems' motor division is used to control muscles, organs and excretions of glands in the body. The functions described in the other option are for the somatic division of the nervous system. So the answer is D.

I hope this answer helps.
