We will use the formula for the slope:
m = ( y2- y1 ) / ( x2 - x1 )
For PQ : m = ( 0 - 0 ) / ( a + c - 0 ) = 0
For RS : m = ( b - b ) / ( a - ( 2a + c )) = 0
Both slopes are m = 0, so PQ and RS are parallel to x - axis and at the same time parallel to each other ( PQ | | RS ). One pair of opposite sides is parallel.

Answer:

14s^4-7s^2+15

Step-by-step explanation:

At the beginning the only bracket that is changing is the 3rd one because of the minus. (12s^4-6s^2+4s)+(6s^4-4s+27)-4s^4+s^2+12 then open the rest of the brackets. And start calculating.i will just to show you which ones u calculate together. (I'll separate the numbers depending on what they're squared to).

12s^4+6s^4-4s^4=14s^4

-6s^2-s^2=7s^2

27-12=15

All together is 14s^4-7s^2+15

Find the value of x in the given figure using parallel lines
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

x = 18 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

because lines n and m are parallel, 3x and 126 are same side interior angles. This means that when added up they equal 180, so make an equation as so:

3x + 126 = 180

Solve for it and x will equal 18.

You meet with the financial aid office to discuss your costs for attending MGA next semester. Tuition is $113.67 per credit hour
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

$1615.05

Step-by-step explanation:

First the cost. We know that tuition per credit hour is 113.67 and there is a flat fee of 660. This can be represented by 113.67h + 660, where h is equal to the number of credit hours.

Next, the amount paid. There are two constants of 350 and 400 already there. We can represent the remaining amount that needs to be paid by another variable, x.

Now, the cost needs to be equal to the amount you pay. We can replace h with 15 for 15 hours and solve for x.

113.67h + 660 = 350 + 400 + x

113.67(15) + 660 = 350 + 400 + x

1705.05 + 660 = 750 + x

2365.05 = 750 + x

1615.05 = x
