Ms. Jones is ordering pizzas for the school dance. To keep things simple, she plans on only ordering two types, cheese and peppe

roni. Each cheese pizza costs $10 and each pepperoni pizza costs $13. The number of cheese pizzas should be more than twice the number of pepperoni pizzas. The school dance budget will allow for no more than $200 to pay for the pizzas. This situation can be modeled by the following system of inequalities.

You didn't add the system of inequalities. But when you are posting a question and you don't know how to type the question or the answer or if you don't feel like it. Hold down shift, ctrl (control), and the button that divides/spaces  each tab out, amd you're screen if go dime so you can highlight a part of the screen so it will take a picture and you can post it.

I posted the question and answer below.

!!Hope this helped!!

Please rate <u><em>"excellent"</em></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer: In the picture below the correct answer is

D. The system represents the minimum amount that Ms. Jones can spend on cheese pizzas, x, and pepperoni pizzas, y, and the relationship between the number of cheese pizzas and pepperoni pizzas.

Let
x-------------> number of cheese pizza  (e<span>ach cheese pizza costs $10)
</span>y-------------> number of pepperoni pizza (each pepperoni  pizza costs $13)

we know that
10x+13y <= <span>$200
x > 2y

the answer is
</span><span>This situation can be modeled by the following system of inequalities
</span>10x+13y <= $200
x > 2y

using a graph tool
see the attached figure to view the solution of the system of inequalities

Answer:

8

Those little "sticks" are called absolute value.

For example, the absolute value of 2 is 2, and the absolute value of −2 is also 2. The absolute value of a number may be thought of as its distance from zero along real number line.

Thus, it doesn't matter if the number is positive or negative. As it only counts its <u>d</u><u>i</u><u>s</u><u>t</u><u>a</u><u>n</u><u>c</u><u>e</u><u> </u><u>f</u><u>r</u><u>o</u><u>m</u><u> </u><u>0</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>o</u><u>n</u><u> </u><u>t</u><u>h</u><u>e</u><u> </u><u>n</u><u>u</u><u>m</u><u>b</u><u>e</u><u>r</u><u> </u><u>l</u><u>i</u><u>n</u><u>e</u><u>.</u>

I hope it helps.

Consider a simple example of moral hazard. Suppose that Woodrow goes into a casino to make one bet a day. The casino is very bas
Neko [114]

Answer:

The expected value of the safe bet equal $0

Step-by-step explanation:

If

S=\left\{s_1,s_2,...,s_n\right\}

is a finite numeric sample space and

P(X=s_k)=p_k for k=1, 2,..., n

is its probability distribution, then the expected value of the distribution is defined as

E(X)=s_1P(X=s_1)+s_2P(X=s_2)+...+s_nP(X=s_n)X)

What is the expected value of the safe bet?

In the safe bet we have only two possible outcomes: head or tail. Woodrow wins $100 with head and “wins” $-100 with tail So the sample space of incomes in one bet is

S = {100,-100}

Since the coin is supposed to be fair,

P(X=100)=0.5

P(X=-100)=0.5

and the expected value is

E(X) = 100*0.5 - 100*0.5 = 0

How many solutions are there to the following equation?
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

D) infinitely many solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

5 ( x-3 ) - 3x = 8x - 15 - 6x

5x - 3x - 15 = 8x - 6x - 15

2x - 15 = 2x - 15

2x = 2x

Since, equations of both lines are same. Therefore, there are infinitely many solutions.

I need help please. I need the the discount and selling price. Thank you
salantis [7]

Answer:

<h2><u>15.12 is the discount</u></h2><h2><u>68.88 is the sell price</u></h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

When you are taking off percentages from numbers, you first want to make the percent a number. This step is super simple. Just divide the 18 by 100

This gets you 0.18

Now multiply

84 * 0.18 = 15.12

So 15.12 is the discount

Then take 84 and subtract 15.12

84 - 15.12 = 68.88

So 68.88 is the sell price
