From "An Encounter"<br> Which is a theme in this story?
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

nation:

“An Encounter” suggests that although people yearn for escape and adventure, routine is inevitable, and new experiences, when they do come, can be profoundly disturbing. The narrator and his friends play games about the Wild West to disrupt the rote activity of school, and venture into Dublin for the same reason.

WILL MEDAL !!!!!!!!!!

<span>The correct asnwer is B, helplessness.

The repetition of the phrase "still is sitting" shows that the speaker is helpless to get the Raven to leave. Just as the speaker cannot make the Raven leave him, he is also unable to get over his grief at losing his true love. He will forever be grieving, and the Raven will forever sit above his chamber door.

Therefore, the mood created in this scene is one of helplessness. </span>
