You said that                             Y            = Mx + B

Subtract  B  from each side:     Y - B       =  Mx

Divide each side by 'x' :           (Y - B) / x  =  M

The equation y=7.6x represents a proportional relationship what is the constant of proportionality?
prisoha [69]

Answer:

Option B. 7.6

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a proportional variation if it can be expressed in the form y/x=k or y=kx

where

k is the constant of proportionality

The slope of the linear equation is the same that the constant of proportionality

In this problem we have

y=7.6x

so

the slope is m=7.6

therefore

The constant of proportionality k is k=7.6

Please help me!!<br> multiple choice
Dimas [21]
To find out how many gram the puppy increase each day, here's what we can do:

weight of day 4 - weight of day 2
=365 - 305
=60g

To comfirm,we can use another pair
weight of day 4 - weight of day 2
=485-425
=60g

From the above,we can see that the puppy increase 60 grams each two days, meaning that it would increase 60÷2=30 gram each day.

We can then find its weight of age of 5 days:
365+30
=395g

Thus the answer is D.395

Hope it helps!
