The correct answer of this question is : D) Biosphere.

EXPLANATION:

The biosphere contains all the living organisms starting from flora to fauna.

The essential components of the organism are air, water and mineral etc. All these essential needs are obtained from atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere.

Hence, it is the biosphere which is dependent on all the other spheres in order to exist on this planet.

In a mass spectrometer, a compound is first vaporized and converted into ions, which are then separated based on a difference in
Crazy boy [7]

The correct answer is  their difference in the charge to  mass ratio  a mass spectrometer, a compound is first vaporized and converted into ions .

Mass spectrometry is a technique for determining the mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) of one or more molecules in a sample. These measurements are frequently used to calculate the precise molecular weight of the sample components.

The speed at which positively charged ions move through a vacuum chamber toward a negatively charged plate is measured by mass spectrometers. ToF, magnetic sector, and quadrupole mass spectrometers are all commonly used in SIMS instrumentation. The MS/MS has three major advantages: the ability to study numerous molecules regardless of whether they are from the same structural family or not; the ability to highlight the specific metabolites of a disease; and it is an automated technique that allows for large-scale analysis.

Which of the following is true of greenhouse gases?
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

A. They trap energy in the atmosphere.

Explanation:

Greenhouse gases are defined as gases that absorb and emit radiation within the infrared range. These gases allow the sun’s rays to pass through the ozone layer and warm the earth, but prevent this warmth from escaping atmosphere.

Greenhouse gases cause the greenhouse effect on planets. Examples of greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, ozone etc.

Different between conventional and non conventional energy sources
masha68 [24]

CONVENTIONAL SOURCE OF ENERGY:

The conventional sources of energy are generally non-renewable sources of energy, which are being used since a long time. These sources of energy are being used extensively in such a way that their known reserves have been depleted to a great extent.

At the same time it is becoming increasingly difficult to discover and exploit their new deposits. It is envisaged at known deposits of petroleum in our country will get exhausted by the few decades and coal reserves are expected to last for another hundred years. The coal , petroleum, natural gas and electricity are conventional sources of energy.

>Conventional sources of energy are not abundant, present in limited quantity, e.g. coal, petroleum, natural gas.

>conventional source have been in use for a long time.

>conventional source aren’t refill continuously. They are formed over a million years.

>Conventional source are called non-renewable fuel sources of energy.

> Conventional source are mostly used industrial and commercial purposes.

NON-CONVENTIONAL SOURCE OF ENERGY:

Energy generated by using wind, tides, solar geothermal heat and biomass including farm and animal waste as well as human excreta is known as non-conventional energy. All these sources are renewable or inexhaustible and do not cause environment pollution. More over they do not require heavy expenditure.

> Non-conventional sources of energy are abundant in nature, e.g. solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy, bio-gas from biomass etc.

>Non-Conventional source are development phase over the past few years.

>Non-conventional source are continuously fill by natural processes.

>Non-conventional source are called renewable source of energy.

>Non-conventional source are mostly used for household purposes.

How much heat is needed to raise the temperature of 1 kg of iron from 25 degree to 30 degrees?
stiv31 [10]

Answer:300 joules

Explanation:The formula for specific heat is:

E

=

m

c

θ

, where:

E

is the energy needed in joules,

m

is the mass in kilograms,

c

is the specific heat,

θ

is the change in temperature, Celsius of Kelvin doesn't matter.

Here,
