Answer:

The answer is social control theory.

Explanation:

This theory of deviance states that self-control, as well as acknowledging the existence and importance of social norms may prevent criminal behaviour. This may occur for a number of reasons:

  • The person is afraid of punishment (direct);
  • They realise their actions might harm others (indirect); or
  • They genuinely believe their actions are wrong (internal).

Answer:

Social Control theory

Explanation:

Social control theory can be defined as the way in which people moral code enables them not to do what is wrong by encouraging them to always do what is right.

Social control theory enables people to control the way they behave in the society by simply turning bad behaviour into good behaviour because in a society where their is moral code it encourage people not to break the law thereby enabling them to voluntarily decide not to engage in immoral behaviour .

Social control theory has been helpful because it help people to reduce or disengaged themselves from any criminal acts and bad behaviour.

Kina parents use SOCIAL CONTROL THEORY to encourage her to attend church, study hard, and believe that "nice girls finish first." in which Kina values what her parents think.

Water, holy oils, white garment, Easter candle, white candle for newly baptized

<u>Eucharist.</u>

Bread & wine

<u>Confirmation.</u>

Chrism for anointing, Fire, & Holy Spirit

<u>Reconciliation.</u>

Stole

<u>Anointing of the sick.</u>

<u>Marriage.</u>

<u>Holy orders.</u>

Chrism for anointing; vestments for newly ordained

Baptism is the first step to salvation and the basis for all other sacraments; without it, the others cannot take place. It initiates you into the faith, making you an official member of the Catholic Church. The Sacrament of Baptism has five effects:

  • It removes the stain of Original and personal sin.
  • It absolves us of the corporeal and eternal punishment that resulted from that sin.
  • It infuses us with the life of God, called sanctifying grace. We become a part of Christ.
  • Through it, we become part of the Church representing the Mystical Body of Christ.
  • It allows you to participate in other Sacraments and to increase your grace.

Holy Orders allows a man to continue the work of Jesus Christ and His Apostles by passing His authority to those who are worthy. Those receiving this sacrament are able to administer sacraments to others, though a bishop is the only member who can perform the Sacrament of Holy Orders. Three levels of ordination exist: deacons, priests, and bishops.

  • Priests receive the ability to act in the Person of Christ and hold Mass.
  • Bishops are given the strength to lead a Congregation and die as Christ did.
  • Deacons receive the ability to preach.

How did World War II affect life in Georgia?
deff fn [24]

Southern states were critical to the war effort during World War II (1941-45) and none more so than Georgia. Some 320,000 Georgians served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II, and countless others found employment in burgeoning wartime industries. Their experiences were pivotal in determining the state's future development, and the war itself marked a watershed in Georgia's history. Because it occurred when important shifts in the state's politics, race relations, and economy were already under way, the war accelerated Georgia's modernization, lifting it out of the Great Depression and ushering it into the mainstream of American life.
