Answer:

The correct answer is:

Protagonist: Romeo and Juliet

Antagonist: Capulet and Montague family

Explanation:

The protagonist is the main character in a story, a leading and key figure of a story in each literary work.

On the other hand, the antagonist is a character who fights against the protagonists and it is often represented as a bad person or villain.

Romeo and Juliet are the main characters of Shakespeare’s tragedy, while their families could be considered as the antagonists because they had a big influence on the tragic ending of their love story.

The dark clouds gave me a glimpse that it was going to rain. It rained so hard. There was so much puddles when I was walking. Rain is such a soothing sound it makes me feel very calm. Also I don’t really like rain when I’m out because I hate the feeling of getting wet when I have clothes on. When I was out there was so much people carrying umbrellas.

What is considered one of the first magical realist story?
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis

Explanation:

Magical realism is a literary genre that depicts the real world with elements of magic or fantasy. Although it is most commonly associated with Latin American authors, the first example of magical realism is considered to be The Metamorphosis - a novella written by Franz Kafka. It tells the story of a salesman Gregor Samsa, who wakes one morning to find himself transformed into a huge insect and afterward struggles to adjust to his new form.

Some of the elements of stories that belong to the magical realism are:

 • realistic setting
 • magical elements
 • limited information - the magic remains unexplained in order to normalize it as much as possible and make it feel like a part of everyday life.
 • critique - magical realism is often used to criticize society.
 • unique plot structure - there is often no clear beginning, middle, and end, which provides the reader with an intense reading experience.
