The first digit following variable "x" indicates how your shape moves along the y-axis. The second digit following variable "x" indicates how your shape moves along the x-axis. <u>IF EITHER OF THOSE DIGITS ARE STATED IN PARENTHESIS, THEY DO THE OPPOSITE</u>! In parenthesis, plus means minus. And for fractions, say you have 2/1, would translate to 1/2. This rule only applies to f(x) expressions.
