Answer:

Judy's actions on the golf course are similar to the way she treats men.

Explanation:

In Francis Scott Fitzgerald's "Winter Dreams," Judy feels that she can go after whatever she wants with her incredible charm . In that respect, she knows about her physical attractiveness and just makes men aware of it. In fact, Dexter's interest in her has more to do with her beauty than her personality.

In my humble opinion I would state that the significance of the Excerpt from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “Winter Dreams” is how she conveys her own feelings. In this excerpt Judy is described as a beautiful girls who was born in a rich family. She was spoiled and developed a feeling of self-entitlement. She truly believes that whatever she desires, she can get it.

Answer: Judy’s actions on the golf course are similar to the way she treats men.

I hope it helps, Regards.

Lesson 16: Writing Workshop: Poem
Anit [1.1K]

(All you have to do is submit it to "Check your work.")

Stars

Billions and trillions, painting the sky.

Shining light of unique wonder.

Young child glanced up, with a sigh

"How many are there" she would ponder.

All different sizes and shapes you see,

Seen only at night through curious orbs.

To be a star, up in the sky living free?

The idea was a wondrous thought to absorb.

Small hands grasped together in anticipation,

Awaiting the moment to come.

"Aren't stars such wonderful creations?"

She asks with a gentle hum.

Dancing across the sky like a ballet,

the stars whisper sweet nothings.

Upon the crisp green grass the child lay,

Hoping that soon she'll at least see something.

Quick as seen, like a predator and prey.

The stars twinkled in amusement.

They feared most the oncoming day.

Blame on the clouds in accusement.

As bright and as beautiful as anything ever,

the sky lit up with fallen stars.

'My, I could watch this forever-"

Watching the scene from afar.

Were stars lonely up in the sky?

Wondering now as she ponders.

Do they ever break down and cry?

No! There are millions of others!

Though, do they all feel lonely?

Up there in the sky, awaiting day?

"Perhaps they do" She stated surely.

"Stars shall never be forgotten" She'd say.
