When comparing these two different sets of numbers the major difference is the number of places that you need to compare. In the case of the first pair, you would have to include the ones, tens and hundreds place when comparing, whereas with the second pair you would only need to compare the ones place.

This can be seen by using subtraction. You'll note that subtracting the first set gives you a 2 digit number and involves the process of borrowing (when you do it by hand).

738 - 645 = 93

The second set will give you a one digit number and involves no borrowing.

649 - 645 = 4

Fine the value of the x in the triangle shown below.
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

x=28

Step-by-step explanation:

The interior angles of a triangle must add to 180 degrees

Therefore,

79+73+x=180

Combine like terms by adding 79 and 73

152+x=180

To solve for x, get x by itself. Since 152 is being added to x, subtract 152 from both sides. This will cancel the 152, and leave x by itself.

152-152+x=180-152

x=28

So, x is equal to 28 degrees

Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

250 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

circumference of circle 'C' is defined as

C = 2πr

250π = 2πr

r = 250π/2π

r= 125

d = 2r = 2×125 = 250 .

diameter of the given circle is 250 ft

Drag each tile to the correct box. A data set that consists of many values can be summarized using the five-number summary. Arra
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

Minimum < Q1 < Median < Q3< Maximum

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Minimum, Median, Maximum, Q3 and Q1

See attachment for complete question

Required

Order from least to greatest

In a dataset, the range is:

Range = Maximum - Minimum

This implies that, the minimum is the least and the maximum is the highest of the dataset

So, we have:

Minimum <         <              <           < Maximum

The median is the middle item; So, the above becomes

Minimum <         < Median <           < Maximum

In a dataset, the IQR is:

IQR = Q_3 - Q_1

This implies that:

Q_3 > Q_1

So, we have:

Minimum < Q1 < Median < Q3< Maximum
