The Koppen climate classification system is based on design of the botanist an is based on the type of the vegetation gown in different regions.

  • The Köppens climatic classification system is based on the five major class and groups, them with each of them being based on the seasonal rainfall and the temperature patterns of the places.  
  • These five groups are then as A (tropical), B as (dry), the C as (temperate), the D as (continental), and the E as (polar).  
  • Each group and subgroup is shown by a letter that symbolizes them. His classification has been further modified by the Trewartha climatic classification of the 1960's.
