He wanted to do good, but his own rage took over and took the good deed of bringing justice for all black people, and made it into a march of murder and evil. The only way to truly determine if John Brown was a martyr or a misguided fanatic is to decide what measures are acceptable to go to to accomplish something, and what measures are too much.
