Answer:

9/11

Step-by-step explanation:

You can use the strategy Keep/Switch/Flip when dividing fractions.

In the equation 4/11 ÷ 4/9, you KEEP 4/11 intact, SWITCH the division sign to multiply, then FLIP the fraction 4/9 to 9/4, creating the equation:

4/11 · 9/4  .

When solved, you get the fraction 36/44.

Divide both the numerator and the denominator by the Greatest Common Factor, which in this case is 4, and you get:

9/11.

I hope this helps! :)

First we have to find how many chose cat:
100-48-14-2= 36%. Because the whole thing is 100% and I removed all the other animals to find the percentage of cats chosen.
Then we want to know the number of classmates:
Cat= 36% of 50 people = 0.36 x 50=18
Fish= 14% of 50 people = 0.14 x 50= 7
Now we see the difference between them :
18-7=11 people

The answer is D which is 11.

beks73 [17]

Answer:

The number 18 is a counterexample for Option D - If a number is divisible by 2, then it is also divisible by 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : The number 18 is a counterexample for which of the following conditional statements?

Solution :

For a conditional statement to be true then it is true for all cases that satisfy the condition.

A counterexample is given to prove a conditional statement false.

Now, Examine all the conditions

A. If a number is divisible by 2, it is even.

18 is even and divisible by 2 - True

B.  If a number is odd, then it is not divisible by 2.

18 is not odd so it is divisible by 2 - True

C. If a number is even, then it ends with 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8.

18 ends with 8 so it is even - True

D. If a number is divisible by 2, then it is also divisible by 4.

18 is divisible by 2 but 18 is not divisible by 4 - False

Therefore, The number 18 is a counterexample for Option D - If a number is divisible by 2, then it is also divisible by 4.
