We will need to make an equation.  I set the amount of pages that Rafael will read equal to R.  Denise reads 3/4 as much as Rafael, so D = 3/4 R.  Philippe reads 1/2 as much as Rafael, so P = 1/2 R.

D + P + R = 3/4R + 1/2R + R = 540

9/4R = 540

R = 240, Rafael will read 240.

0.66666667 as a fraction
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

__________________________________________

    The correct answer is:   " \frac{2}{3} " .

__________________________________________

Note:  Let's assume that this given decimal value  is really:

"0.66666666666666666....."  ;

(non-terminating; but repeating the singing digit, "7" ; yet rounded to:

" 0.66666667 " ;

then:  " 0.666... "    = \frac{666}{999}  ;

                               =  (666 ÷ 111) / (999 ÷ 111)  ;

                               =  6/9 ;

                              = (6÷3)/(9÷3)  ;

                               =   2/3 ;

                               =   " \frac{2}{3} "

                              →  which is our answer.

____________________________________________

 Or:   " 0.6666... "  =  666 ÷ 999 = ?  ;

                        using calculator :

                               =  0.66666667 ;

        →  which is the "rounded off" number of "0.6666..." ;

                                                                — (infinitely repeating) ;

                  →   So 666 ÷ 999 =

                  →   "  \frac{666}{999} " ;

                               =  " \frac{2}{3} " ;

                               →  Either use a "fraction calculator" ;

       or simplify as aforementioned.

I need help with Trig! The picture is attached below. (30 points)
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Cot is the inverse of tan.  Therefore, the ratios are also inverses.  The same goes for csc, which is the inverse of sin.

The tan ∠B = \frac{6}{5}  so the cot ∠B = \frac{5}{6} so the first statement is false.

The sin ∠C = \frac{5}{8}  so the csc ∠C = \frac{8}{5} so the second statement is false.

The tan ∠C = \frac{5}{6}  so the cot ∠C = \frac{6}{5} so the third statement is false.

The sin ∠B = \frac{6}{8}  so the csc ∠B = \frac{8}{6} which reduces to \frac{4}{3} so the last statement is true!
