Darla and Nadia had been roommates for all four years in college. They developed such a close friendship that when graduation ti

me arrived, it went without saying that they would find an apartment together.
All went well until Darla and Nadia applied for the same job and both landed an interview. The night before Nadia’s interview, Darla snuck into Nadia’s room and turned off her alarm clock. When Nadia found out what Darla had done, she yelled in disbelief, “How could you do such a thing?” As Nadia slammed her door shut, a picture of the two of them fell to the floor and shattered into hundreds of pieces. The next day, Darla moved out.
