the answer is: A cognitive psychologist enrolls undergraduate students for a computer-based study about the effect of mood on problem-solving behaviors.

Here the requirement for research with human subjects according to the Fed :

"Obtains information or biospecimens through intervention or interaction with the individual, and uses, studies, or analyzes the information or biospecimens; or Obtains, uses, studies, analyzes, or generates identifiable private information or identifiable biospecimens."

The experiment on this ption fulfill the criteria because:

- The experiment should use studies or analytics to obtain some sort of private information from the subjects.  (such as their mood)

- The experiment should make some sort of intervention that can be used to measure its hypothesis. (in the case above, the researchers could put the subject under a certain level of stress before telling them to  solve a set of problems)

- The researchers need to interact with the subject in a certain way. (since the researchers meet the undergraduate directly, it's considered as an interraction)

contributions of the Babylonians to society? Explain why each was important and how each contribution influenced change.
Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer: Babylonians came after Akkadians and Sumerians so it is important to bear this in mind because many of their skills were inherited from previous cultures and some of these skills can be viewed as an extension of Sumerian and Akkadian culture/civilization (Sumerian language continued being language of liturgy, some old Sumerian religious cults were still there, Sumerian mythology was still present, astronomy and mathematics and cuneiform characters were inherited). Day divided in 24 hours is a Babylonian invention, circle divided in 360 degrees is also Babylonian invention, capacity to predict lunar eclipse and discovery of lunation (and their symbolic interpretation) is a Babylonian invention. Big part of all that was acquired/inherited by old Greek thinkers (Thales for example).

Explanation: There is no doubt that astronomy/astrology is of Sumerian/Babylonian origin and this knowledge was spread in Middle East and later it came to Greece. Egyptian and Greek (and later western) astrology was influenced by Babylonian astrology. Many predictive techniques and divinations we can found among Egyptians and Greek were of Babylonian origin (study of planetary secondary progressions, eclipses etc.).

A well-designed experiment can be replicated by others. please select the best answer from the choices provided t f
Murrr4er [49]
True. A well-designed experiment can be replicated by others. It's been proven that if an experiment is designed extremely well, to where people can see how it was designed, it can be replicated. Though someone may not be able to know and use the exact items that were used to make the current experiment, they should be able to discover enough to understand how to remake it.
