Great Britain made use of the is geographic location taking advantage of the sea-coal, coal made London and London England has been said and is true because without coal, England would not be the great country that is on these days.

London at the side of Tamesis Rivers had anything needed for being a big city but all those characterístics would be nothing at least a good source of energy,

Britanics had made use of almost all the wood at hand and they saw in coal their salvation, they could afford the cold weather thanks to it and with industrial revolution they made of coal the main source of energy for their machines.

Coal was transported in boats through the sea and and the beginning of 20 century almost a million of workers were employed by coal industry

The geographic context for the use of coal to power industrialization in Great Britain in the late 1700s is this.

In that time, in Britain, the manufacture of things was made by people in their own homes. The utensils that were used for manufacture were elemental tools and poor quality machines if there were any. The English territory was full of coal and the British used to the maximum to power new machines and initiate the Industrial Revolution, specifically developing the textile industry.

The coal was the key element that helped to power industrialization in England. Coal was plenty and it was easy to extract. There used to be a lot of coal deposits in the Surface of the land. There were deposits of coal in different places such as Edinburgh, Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Sheffield, and Leeds.

How did the allies win the battle of the Atlantic ?
podryga [215]

Answer:

The battle of the Atlantic was the naval warfare in the Atlantic Ocean between the German Kriegsmarine and the Allies' navies. The German Kriegsmarine had two categories: the Unterseefloat, which contained U-Boats (a type of German submarine), and the HochSeeFleet which contained the Capital ships, cruisers, and destroyers. The U-Boats were the main danger, as many Allied convoys had no escorts at the beginning of the war. The HochSeeFleet lost its pride, the Bismarck, on its maiden voyage, and never saw the success the Submarines did. Eventually, the battle of the Atlantic was won because of Germany's neglection of the navy, focusing all of it's resources to the land wars. Special sonar technology eventually made U-Boats much less scary, as they could be detected.

Bold is why the Allies won.
