The first Emperor to convert to Christianity was Constantine ( option A ) . Constantine, who ruled as Emperor of the Roman Empire from 306 to 337 AD, proclaimed tolerance to all religions in all the Emire through the Edict of Milan, of 313 AD. He converted himself to Christianity at his deathbed, in year 337 AD.
