I don't know chromosomes very well but i know genes and DNA. Genes are microscopic relations between 2 things. for example, if you had a twin you would have very similar genes making you even more related. As long as your related to them by genes they are a bit of your family. DNA is basically the building blocks of life as we've learned from the jurassic park movie, that nothing can exist without DNA. In other words DNA is your very essence, its every single tiny speck that makes you. But again i don't know too much about chromosomes, your on your own there

Mashutka [201]

Height is a polygenic trait, controlled by at least three genes with six alleles. If you are dominant for all of the alleles for height, then you will be very tall. There is also a wide range of skin color across people. Skin color is also a polygenic trait, as are hair and eye color.

All the above:

If you want to change the pitch of a sound, you have to change the ___ Question 7 options: volume speed amplitude frequency
charle [14.2K]

The correct answer is frequency.

The pitch can be defined as the quality of sound produced by the rate of vibration producing it.

It is directly related to the the frequency of the sound wave. If the frequency is increased then its pitch will also increase and vice versa.

As for normal people it is a bit difficult to differentiate between the two but the musician are trained so they can differentiate the difference between the two even if the difference is 2 Hz

Is vitamin c prevents sore throat testable by scientific inquiry
sergey [27]
There is not enough evidence to support that vitamin C aid in sore throat. But there is no harm too.

In the medical field, every treatment should be supported by evidence. This practice called evidence-based medicine. There is so much drug claim that actually wasn't supported by research and might be potentially doing more harm than benefit. Theory or argument about why it should work is not enough, you need to do a research to find the truth.
