Actually it is also a good way to relieve stress.  Just exercising or playing an instrument, you have avenue where you can express your anxiety.  Still, it should not stop there.  If you can you could talk to other people about your problems and get some counseling.  What is important is that you solve whatever it is that is stressing you out.
