There are a couple of operations you can do on powers
We can multiply powers with the same base
x4⋅x2=(x⋅x⋅x⋅x)⋅(x⋅x)=x6
xa⋅xb=xa+b
This is an example of the product of powers property tells us that when you multiply powers with the same base you just have to add the exponents

What is an equation of a line, in point-slope form, that passes through (1,-7) and has a slope of -2/3?
Brut [27]

Answer: y + 7 = -2/3 (x - 1 )

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in point - slope form is given as :

y-y_{1} = m(x-x_{1} )

Where m is the slope and (x_{1} , y_{1}) is the given point

substituting the values into the formula , we have:

y - (-7) = -2/3 ( x - 1)

y + 7 = -2/3(x - 1 )

Danielle earns $36.80 for 4 hours of yardwork. MacKenzie earns $50.40 for 6 hours of yardwork. Who earns more money per hour? HI
Elden [556K]

Answer:

Danielle earns more in  1 hours and  $0.80 more than MacKenzie

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Danielle earns $36.80 for 4 hours of yardwork. MacKenzie earns $50.40 for 6 hours of yardwork.

To find : Who earns more money per hour? How much more

Solution : We have given

Danielle earns in  4 hours = $36.80 .

Danielle earns in  1 hours = .

Danielle earns in  1 hours = $9.20 .

MacKenzie earns in 6 hours = $50.40

MacKenzie earns in 1 hours = .

MacKenzie earns in 1 hours = $8.40.

We can see Danielle earns more in  1 hours .

How much = $9.20 - $8.40.

= $0.80.

Therefore,  Danielle earns more in  1 hours and  $0.80 more than MacKenzie

Paha777 [63]
In the given you wrote -2, whereas it should be -2i

z = a + bi and in trigo form | z |.(cos Ф + i.sin Ф).
z = 0 -2i → | z |.(cos Ф + i.sin Ф)
Now let's calculate z:

z² = a²+b² → z² = 0² (-2.i)² → z = -2(i)² →z= -2(-1) → z = |2|
tan Ф = b/a = -2/0 → tan Ф → - ∞ ↔ Ф = -90° or Ф = 270°
 then the - 2 I ↔ |2|(cos 270° + i.sin 270°)

The national debt of a country is
olganol [36]

Answer:  3 \times 10^{13}

Explanation:

Highlight the first digit on the very left (2). The 7 right next to it means we'll round that 2 up to a 3. Every other digit becomes a zero.

The number 27,895,168,401,112 rounds to 30,000,000,000,000 which is the number 30 trillion.

It converts to the scientific notation 3 \times 10^{13} because we basically start with 3.0 and move the decimal point 13 spots to the right to arrive at 30 trillion as shown above.
