Answer:

Time taken to complete 100 revolutions will be 964 s

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of paddle wheel = 4 ft

So, circumference of wheel = C = π d

=> C = 4π

We know, the formula of speed s = d/t

where d is distance traveled and t is time taken.

We are given speed s= 1.3

Distance of wheel is equal to its circumference so, time taken will be:

s= d/t

=> t = d/s

=> t = 4π / 1.3

=> t = 3.07 * 3.14 s

=> t = 9.64 s

So, time taken to complete 100 revolutions will be:

9.64 * 100 = 964 s

Time taken to complete 100 revolutions will be 964 s

Here is a CD rack. One Rack holds 25 CD's. David has 83 CD's. Lin has 6 full racks of CD's. How many racks does David need to ho
Dimas [21]
If David has 83 CD's, and each rack holds 25, then David would need 4 racks. 4 racks will hold up to 100 CD's, where as 3 racks would only hold 75.

I'm not sure what 'Lin' has to do with this equation, but if she has 6 racks full of CD's then in total she has 150 CD's.

Hope this helps! :)

Tyler concludes that 5x² will always have a larger output for the same value of x.

Look at the graph below and the table given

Take a random value: x = 0

 • When 5x², y = 0
 • When 2^x, y = 1

Here, 1 > 0, making 2^x > 5x²

Hence, 2^x is greater than 5x² at this point. making Tyler's point not applicable.

Disagree with Tyler's point.

Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

I'm old and the way I was taught about fraction division was:

INVERT AND MULTIPLY.

SO: (5/8) divided by (1/4) equals

(5/8) multiplied by (4/1) which equals (20/8) or 2.5
