B) Minimum= 1
    Q1= 3
    Q3= 8
    Lower Fence= Q1-(IQR*1.5)
                         =   3-(5*1.5)
                         = -4.5
     Maximum= 11
     Median= 7
     IQR= 8= 3= 5
     Upper Fence= Q3+(IQR*1.5)
                          = 8+(5*1.5)
                          = 15.5
c) No. All values are between the lower fence and the upper fence.

Solve and check: 1 x 3 = x 10 x − 2 from least to greatest, the solutions are x = and x = .
krok68 [10]

The value of x in the equation from the least to the greatest is -8 and -4.

<h3>How to find the variable in an equation?</h3>

\frac{1}{x+3}=\frac{x+10}{x-2}

cross multiply

x - 2 = (x + 10)(x + 3)

x - 2 = x² + 3x + 10x + 30

x - 2  = x² + 13x + 30

x² + 13x - x  + 30 + 2 = 0

x² + 12x + 32 = 0

x² + 4x + 8x + 32 = 0

x(x + 4) + 8(x + 4) = 0

(x + 4)(x + 8) = 0

x = -4 and x = -8

A cylinder and its dimensions are shown in the diagram.
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Answer:

C. V = π(2.5)²h

Volume = 19.6h

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius (r) of cylinder = ½ of 5 = 2.5 in.

Height (h) = h in.

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

Equation that can be used to find B:

Plug in the values into the volume formula

V = π(2.5)²h

Volume = 19.6h

The interarrival time of nuclear particles in a Monte Carlo simulation of a reaction is designed to have a uniform distribution
jekas [21]

Answer:

Incomplete question, but you can use the formulas given to solve it.

Step-by-step explanation:

Uniform probability distribution:

An uniform distribution has two bounds, a and b.

The probability of finding a value of at lower than x is:

P(X < x) = \frac{x - a}{b - a}

The probability of finding a value between c and d is:

P(c \leq X \leq d) = \frac{d - c}{b - a}

The probability of finding a value above x is:

P(X > x) = \frac{b - x}{b - a}

Uniform distribution over an interval from 0 to 0.5 milliseconds

This means that a = 0, b = 0.5

Determine the probability that the interarrival time between two particles will be:

Considering a = 0, b = 0.5, and the question asked, you choose one of the three formulas above.

Answer:

see below!

Step-by-step explanation:

if this graph is meant to be filled with whole numbers (1,2,3,4,5...) then the numbers 4,6,9, and 10 are divisible, because they can be divided by whole numbers. all the other numbers are prime numbers because they can only be divided by 1 or itself.
