The correct answer is option B

In the lower stratosphere, ozone is found which consists of unusual type of oxygen molecule which cause heating of this layer due to the absorption of ultraviolet radiation. The temperature rises as we move upward in the stratosphere. This causes temperature stratification due to which the convection and mixing is reduced and the layer of air becomes stable. Since the air is stable, the jet aircraft flies in the lower stratosphere to avoid disturbance and turbulence.
