The fight for woman’s rights was mainly about the women wanting equality with men. The revelation of democratic rights would have been when parliament let the women have the vote , which had never really happened before.
President Wilson’s approach towards the defeated Central Powers after World War I was to not punish them too harshly, since he knew this would only cause dangerous resentment. He did not get his wish, however.
