True

Islamic faith do not prohibit birth control. the prophet himself allowed coitus interruptus but the woman must consent to it as it denies satisfaction and child giving which are her rights. Islamic scholars interpreted this to allows child birth controls very early in their time, unlike Christianity and judaism which consider sacred the issue involving procreation, based on the story of Onan and his punishment by Yahweh.

Why might a decision by the upper house upset the lower house?
kati45 [8]

Answer:

I think because if the lower house were to give their opinions on something that the whole room was speaking on and all of the lower house members agreed and most of the upper house members disagreed then that would be a problem for the lower house members. There are more upper house members than lower. So basically that's it.

With farmers still representing a significant segment of American society, why did government officials—Democrats and Republican
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

But more important than the actual accuracy of their assessment was the way that it functioned to tie farmers together as a victimized class. In blaming bankers, middlemen, and railroad tycoons—all agents of the new industrial economy—for their woes, farmers were able to transform their economic concerns into a crusade on behalf of America's agrarian past.
