Pretending you are an emergency responder, what are the steps you would take to help Gordon Hayward after his season ending inju

ry? Use your notes from the past couple of days, specifically your notes about fractures. You must provide a minimum of 3 logical steps you would take when you arrive on the scene. Remember, you ARE 911. Your first step is not to call 911.

Answer: do not put any weight on your fractured (injured leg). Sit down or lay back if you can. Prop your leg on a cushy object. Maybe try a backpack if you have one?

Explanation: while 911 is on their way it is important to prepare the patient or whatever to asses the damage done and not do anything to make it worse. The ambulance people will take care of the fixing your broken leg part. But at least your making their job easy.

In 1992, the _______ system was implemented to replace physicians' Medicare fee system
KatRina [158]

Answer:

Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS).

Explanation:

The creation of the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) started in 1985 at Harvard University. It was finally developed in 1988 by a team of researchers headed by William Hsiao.

On the 1st of January 1992, the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) system was implemented to replace physicians' Medicare fee system and for each Relative Value Unit (RVU), a conversion factor of $31 was utilized.

Under the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS), each of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code are determined by the resource costs needed to provide them, with each factor categorized into three (3) components, namely;

1. Physician work, which takes 51%.

2. Practice expense, which takes 45%.

3. Malpractice expense or Professional Liability Insurance (PLI), which takes 4%

Basically, Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) ensures that payment for any service rendered by the physician varies with the resource costs for the service rendered.

Hence, the RBRVS has helped to significantly improve and stabilize the payment system in the United States of America.

Answer:

A belief in the inherent morality of the group

Explanation:

Groupthink is generally evident when the sense of the concept “we” in a group is strong, so people want to have always good terms with the group. The objective is to maintain the group in a harmonic way and the individual thoughts are usually sacrificed for groupthink.
