Answer:

Contact the firm's large block trading desk.

Explanation:

The reason why the registered representative would contact the firm's large block trading desk is because the order is larger than what can be handled normally on the Newyork Stock Exchange (NYSE) floor. Where large order as in the above is to be sold on the stock exchange floor, such would normally be presented to the firm's large block trading desk who will now decide on how best to handle the order; hence not the duty of registered representative.

Based on past experience, the trade desk would likely hand over the order to one of ABC's stock brokers for execution because for example, Super Display Book - NYSE automated system, which is responsible for dealing NYSE listed issues, has certain limited orders they can take.

SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

- Corporation

Explanation:

At least two people are required to form a corporation. The owners of a corporation are treated as separate entities from the business. The owners, also known as shareholders, enjoy limited liabilities to the debts of the corporation. In case of a liquidation, they cannot lose more than their capital contribution.

A sole proprietorship is owned by one person, but a partnership requires at least two people to form. The owners of sole proprietorships and partnerships have unlimited liabilities to the debts of their businesses. Should the businesses fail in meeting their obligations, owners' personal assets can be used to settle the outstanding debts.

b. At a quantity of 60 cheeseburgers per hour, the average variable cost of production is rising and the average total cost of cheeseburger production is at a minimum.

Explanation:

a. At a quantity of 40 cheeseburgers per hour, the average total cost of production is falling and the marginal cost of cheeseburger production is rising.

From the table in the question, it can be observed that the average total cost of production at a quantity of 30 cheeseburgers per hour is higher than the average total cost of production at a quantity of 40 cheeseburgers per hour, while the average total cost of production at a quantity of 50 cheeseburgers per hour is lower than the average total cost of production at a quantity of 40 cheeseburgers per hour. This implies that at a quantity of 40 cheeseburgers per hour, the average total cost of production is falling.

Also from the table in the question, it can be observed that the marginal cost of production at a quantity of 30 cheeseburgers per hour is lower than the marginal cost of production at a quantity of 40 cheeseburgers per hour, while the marginal cost of production at a quantity of 50 cheeseburgers per hour is higher than the marginal cost of production at a quantity of 40 cheeseburgers per hour. This implies that at a quantity of 40 cheeseburgers per hour, the marginal cost of production is rising.

b. At a quantity of 60 cheeseburgers per hour, the average variable cost of production is rising and the average total cost of cheeseburger production is at a minimum.

From the table in the question, it can be observed that the average variable cost of production at a quantity of 50 cheeseburgers per hour is lower than the average variable cost of production at a quantity of 60 cheeseburgers per hour, while the average variable cost of production at a quantity of 70 cheeseburgers per hour is higher than the average variable cost of production at a quantity of 60 cheeseburgers per hour. This implies that at a quantity of 60 cheeseburgers per hour, the average variable cost of production is rising.

Also from the table in the question, it can be observed that the average total cost of cheeseburger production at quantities of 50 and 60 cheeseburgers per hour are equal and the lowest on the table, this implies that the average total cost of cheeseburger production is at a minimum at a quantity of 60 cheeseburgers per hour.

Why shouldn’t i let someone else use my business name
Strike441 [17]
Hello,

Not sure if this is a school related question but i have the answer for ya (:

There are multiple reasons on why you shouldn't let another person use your business name.
1. They can make YOUR profit off of what you sell
2. It can lead to a law suit in the future
3. 2 businesses using the same name always leads to unwanted problems, finance cases, business claims, and the possibility of being sued by the other person.

Best option would be for you to make your own business name and get it trademarked so that nobody will copy you! (:
