Log₂(6x) - log₂(√x) = 2

log₂[6x/√x] = 2, let's rewrite it in terms of exponent:

(remember : ㏒₂(x) = a  (in exponential form) → x = 2ᵃ

6x/√x = 2²

6x/√x = 4, square both sides:
36x²/x = 16 .Simplify:

36x = 16 and x = 16/36 . So x = 4/9

PLS HELP ME ANSWER THIS QUESTION I DONT UNDERSTAND IT I WILL GIVE BRAINLIST AND A THANK YOU!!!!
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

x=150°

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the vertical angle theorem, you can infer that AEC and DEB are in fact the same angle, 20°, and the same goes for FED and CEG, both 130°.

So, x spans AEC and CEG so is 20° + 130° = 150°

Please please please need help on 3 and 4 I’m really lost on them
Alex73 [517]

Answer:

1) Option c) is correct ie., 5 real and o non-real

2) Option b) is correct ie., (4, \frac{1}{2}, \frac{1}{2}, 2,2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given polynomial function is f(x)=x^5-3x^3-2

To find zeros equate f(x) to zero ie.,  f(x)=0

x^5-3x^3-2=0

By synthetic division

     |   1     0    -3      0      -2

-1  |   0    -1      1      2      2

     |_________________

        1      -1      -2     2      0

Therefore x=-1 is a zero

x^3-x^2-2x+2=0

      |  1    -1     -2    2

1      |  0     1     0     2

      |___________________

          1     0   -2   0

x=1 is the zero

x^2 -2 =0

x=\pm\sqrt{2}

x=\sqrt{2} and

x=\sqrt{-2}

Option c) is correct ie., 5 real and o non-real

2) Given polynomial function is f(x)=(x-4)(2x-1)^2(x-2)^2

To find zeros equate f(x) to zero ie.,  f(x)=0

                                                            (x-4)(2x-1)^2(x-2)^2=0

(x-4)=0 (or) (2x-1)^2=0 or (x-2)^2=0

Therefore x=4, x=\frac{1}{2} of multiplicity of 2 and x=2 multiplicity of 2

Option b) is correct ie., (4, \frac{1}{2}, \frac{1}{2}, 2,2)

James is buying a pair of jeans that cost $39.99. If the price is discounted 40%, and the sales taxes is 8%, what will James pay
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

$25.90

Step-by-step explanation:

39.99 - 40% = 23.99

23.99 TIMES 8% = $1.91

23.99 + 1.91= $25.90

Answer:

Actual distance between two city = 40 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Given sample size;

1 inch = 10 miles

Distance between two city = 4 inch

Find:

Actual distance between two city

Computation:

Actual distance between two city = Sample size of 1 inch in miles x Distance between two city
