Racism is hatred or disfavor towards another race or ethnicity. Racist individuals feel that they are more superior than people of other races because of the color of their skin.

Racism is caused by ignorance and lack of sympathy and empathy.

It has many negative effects. It causes the society to be less productive and causes hate crimes. The amount of violence is also increased. It cause hatred among people. It separates people and causes other to be too quick to judge someone.
