Pls Help! John wants to prove ABC = to DEF. He Knoes AB = DE and AC = DF. With Screenshot
matrenka [14]

Answer:

\angle A \cong \angle D

Step-by-step explanation:

The Side-Angle-Side method cana only be used when information given shows that an included angle which is between two sides of a ∆, as well as the two sides of the ∆ are congruent to the included side and two sides of the other ∆.

Thus, since John already knows that \overline{AB} \cong \overline{DE} and \overline{AC} \cong \overline{DF}, therefore, an additional information showing that the angle between \overline{AB} and \overline{DE} in ∆ABC is congruent to the angle between \overline{AC} and \overline{DF} in ∆DEF.

For John to prove that ∆ABC is congruent to ∆DEF using the Side-Angle-Side method, the additional information needed would be \angle A \cong \angle D.

See attachment for the diagram that has been drawn with the necessary information needed for John to prove that ∆ABC is congruent to ∆DEF.

Hello can someone help me simplify 4) and 5)? Thank you and please include steps :)
Leni [432]
Alrighty

remember some rules
(ab)^c=(a^c)(b^c)
and
x^{-m}=\frac{1}{x^m}
and
x^0=1 for all real values of x
and
(a^b)^c=a^{bc}
and
(\frac{a}{b})^c=\frac{a^c}{b^c}
and
(a/b)/(c/d)=(ad)/(bc)
and
(a^b)(a^c)=a^{b+c}
and
\frac{a^m}{a^n}=a^{m-n}
and don't forget pemdas
example: -x^m=-1(x^m) but (-x)^m=(-1)^m(x^m)

so

4.
(\frac{c^{-2}}{2})^{-2}=

\frac{(c^{-2})^{-2}}{2^{-2}}=

\frac{c^4}{\frac{1}{2^2}}=

\frac{c^4}{\frac{1}{4}}=

4c^4

5.

\frac{(-a)^4bc^5}{-a^2b^{-3}c^0}=

\frac{(-1)^4(a)^4bc^5}{-1(a^2)(\frac{1}{b^3}(1)}=

\frac{(1)a^4bc^5}{\frac{(-1)(a^2)}{b^3}}=

\frac{(a^4bc^5)b^3}{(-1)(a^2)}=

\frac{-a^4b^4c^5}{a^2}=

-a^2b^4c^5

7 divided by 20 is what answers
Montano1993 [528]
Hello!

The Correct Answer to this is that <span>7 divided by 20 or 7/20 equals:

"7/20 = 0.35"

</span>Explanation:

Since you are trying to find equivalent values for 7/20, you can make two proportions and set them equal to each other. The following states that "7 out of 20 is equal to some amount out of 100."

<span><span>7/20</span>=<span>x/100</span></span>

Solve by cross multiplying:

<span>20x=700</span>

Divide both sides by 20 to isolate x:

<span>x=35</span><span> Therefore, </span><span><span>7/20</span>=<span>35/100</span></span><span>. This is the same as saying 35%, since by definition "per" means out of, and "cent" means hundred. To make it into a decimal just move the decimal place two digits to the left, such that 35.00 becomes 0.35, and 100.00 becomes 1. Then it is simply </span><span>0.35/1</span><span>, or 0.35</span>

<span>
Hope this Helps! Have A Wonderful Day! :)</span>
